Branson or Bust

For Spring Break my parents invited us to go to Branson for a few days. It was so much fun! We were only able to go for 2 days (because of work and school), but we had a blast. We left Sunday after church. The kids were so excited that they did not nap during the long drive! We stayed in a really fun golf resort. The first night we went out to eat and then hung out in the hot tub. Jackson LOVED the hot tub! On Monday the guys went golfing and the girls went shopping. That night Chris and I went to the Dixie Stampede. It was awesome! We were picked to be one of the three couples to go down and ride the horses... only we didn't know it was "pretend horses". We had such a fun trip and can't wait to go back again! :-)

Birthday Fun!

February was such a fun month for our family.

Jackson turned 3 years old on February 17th. Wow- I can't believe he is 3! On his birthday we went to Chucky Cheese with my parents and Dave. Jackson LOVED it! After playing and eating pizza we went back to our house to open presents. It is so much fun celebrating birthdays with little kids. Jackson still talks about his Whinnie the Pooh birthday cake and his birthday was a month ago. When he opened his presents he was so excited that he started shaking!

The following week we celebrated Emma's birthday with the fam at our house. I didn't think she would get it, but she was excited because we were excited! Oh, and I'm proud to say that I gave Emma her very first pedicure for the big party. I love my babies!

Hello and welcome to our blog!

For my New Year's Resolution I have decided to start a blog. We hope that this will be a great way to stay in touch with our friends and family, and also serve as a journal for our children!
I guess I'll get started by catching up on what's been going on in our lives over the past 5 years!

On April 25, 2003 our families were staying at the same hotel in Utah. Chris and I met at the pool and it was love at first sight!

Almost a year later, on April,24, 2004, Chris and I were married in the Memphis, Tennessee temple.

We started our marriage with a wonderful trip to Disney World. After our honeymoon, we headed off to Cleveland, Ohio for a summer job.

We then moved to Little Rock, Arkansas and have been here ever sinse.

After a year of marriage we decided it was time to start our little family. And on February 17, 2006 Jackson Christopher Litster made his entrance to the world!

Jackson was a dream baby. He would sleep
for atleast 14 hours at night and still take a
long nap. He was always happy and very
content.

The week before Emma was born we celebrated Jackson's 2nd birthday with a party at Chucky Cheese. Needless to say, we have absolutely LOVED living so close to Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Dave.
On February 26, 2008 (almost three weeks early) Emma made her grand entrance. She has also been such a happy baby!

We have been so blessed these past 5 years!
We hope you enjoy our blog!
